High schooler Yoon-soo’s trivial remark was turned into a vicious rumor and led to his friend’s suicide. Not being able to bear the guilt, he attempts suicide and his family moves to a rural village to help him recover. Once there he meets a mysterious girl named Hae-won, whom the entire village alienates. As if seeing himself in her, he offers her kindness and sympathy, and she slowly opens up to him. But soon, Yoon-soo is also consumed by brutal rumors surrounding her and turns his back on her.
